Passports
All
U.S. travelers need a valid U.S. passport to travel
to Ireland. No exceptions are made on either side
of the pond.

|
Weather
Ireland
has a temperate climate - no extreme hot or cold. The
best times to travel to Ireland are from mid-April until
late October. It rains a lot in Ireland - pack
an umbrella.

Planning
Ireland
is now the #1 overseas golf destination for U.S. golfers.
It is important to plan ahead to ensure you get
the courses, accommodations, and tours you want.

Attire
Soft
spikes are mandatory on most courses. Jeans and
t-shirts are not allowed, and Bermuda shorts
are permitted with knee socks. Casual attire is
allowed at most clubhouses. In some clubs, jacket
and tie may be required for dining. It's usually
best to call ahead or ask your tour operator if there
are any questions.

Caddies
& Carts
There
are caddy services at all high profile golf clubs. Pull
carts are another readily available option. While
electric golf carts are not as popular as in the states,
they are becoming increasingly available in limited
numbers.
